day that President-Elect Trump's new NSA Director, Michael Flynn, was scheduled to have an introduction call with Russia's US Ambassador.
Flynn was part of the transition team, and working with Obama's admin on taking over Susas Rice's duties. Flynn was having meet and greet calls with ambassadors all over the world, because that's what NSA Directors do.
But they targeted his call with the Russia ambassador. Even though there was nothing wrong with the call. In fact, it was normal transition work.
But he didn't get in trouble for having a phone call.
They asked him if he and the Russian Ambassador had discussed the sanctions that Obama had just put on Russia that morning.
Flynn said they did not.
Again... Flynn did not get in trouble for talking sanctions either. That would also not be illegal itself.
What they did nail Flynn for was saying he did NOT talk sanctions with the Russian Ambassador. The swamp claims he did. Therefore, they want to put him in prison for 10 years for telling a statement to the FBI that was untrue.
See? They can't even charge him with lying, because lying would have to prove intent to deceive and they aren't even claiming that.
They are saying Flynn did talk to the Russian Ambassador about sanctions, so therefore Flynn's statement of non fact is a crime.
How very Hitler of the swamp.
What was actually said on that phone call? Who knows because the swamp won't allow us to see it.
Why won't they allow us to see the real words spoken by Flynn and the Russian Ambassador?
Because the truth is they didn't really talk sanctions. The most likely scenario was that it came up because, how could the Russian Ambassador not bring it up? He had just been evicted from the country by Obama over a hoax election scandal.
Even if Flynn did nothing more than give the ambassador assurances of a better relationship when after the inauguration, the swamp is counting that as talking to the Ambassador about sanctions.... therefore a misstatement felony.
Absolute hore****.
And they've done the same thing to Chris Papodapolous and Roger Stone.
Not a single one actually charged with any of the fake Russia Conspiracy crimes. But process "crimes" totally unrelated to their collusion accusations.
The people that have taken part in this disgusting abuse of power and violation of basic human rights should all be executed. That is not hyperbole.
They should be executed.
