You think libs try to be overly PC. No, libs want everyone else to be PC. Since libs are imbued with a special sense of righteousness and insight, they generally feel free to spew they righteousness on command without regard to who might be offended.
I have known many people who would say as you did, that they are more interested in how we might get acquainted and maybe become friends... That is so sweet.
Most of them are full of shlt.
