I don’t think this poll is as solid as the two major polls, NFCA and ESPN.
I have no problem with the top 7 teams. After that there are some big problems. Ok St losing twice (albeit 1 run losses to LSU), and going from #12 to #9? Ahead of undefeated Kentucky and Michigan teams who both had significant wins over Minnesota and Florida? No way.
And Michigan will not be ranked below Minnesota and ULL in the two major polls. Neither will they be behind Alabama, IMO.
And 2-3 Northwestern should not be in the top 25 at all, certainly not in front of a 5-0 Utah team that beat them.
A lot of the rest is debatable because of all the upsets that happened. Some teams will be ranked higher than they deserve, by default because no one below them did anything significant.
