vick is the greatest college player i ever saw.
What he did was disgusting, vile and criminal. No question in my mind. He should have gone to prison.
But i have seen him many many times being interviewed. He comes across as a decent man with, and this i admit makes no sense, a good heart.
He is from the projects and that stain sticks to him. Especially in the form of his idiot entourage; hangers on, sycophants, parasites.
To be kind, he is not a deep thinker. I wonder if his acts were to please his friends more than anything.
I am always skeptical of “apologies” written by lawyers and read badly by criminals. He did not read his apology, he seemed to be legitimately contrite.
