Government can remove obstacles so people can get what they need or want. Society has changed so much that what was once needs are now wants. The gluttony of the situation is that the goods are on hand and selling for a price then they raise the prices on those same goods for their own greed. We all know that anytime that there is a storm, natural disaster, whatever the GNP grows in that region. There are people that take as much as they can get from anyone that they can and they are bad for the community. For a society to be successful and endure through time this practice must be policed.
