person has. Currently the Plan F pays all covered treatments-a close friend received a liver and kidney transplant and incurred no charges.
Hospitals and medical clinics who agree to take Medicare are doing so based on volume to at least off set some of the overhead. If they aren't making money they should look at their own budgeting and opt out if Medicare is the problem.
As a side bar, it is strange to me that the emphasis is too reduce insurance costs when they are based on the cost of health care. Reduce that cost and premiums go down.
