A man is on trial for his life and the prosecutor(s) rises and states, I'll have this man in the death chamber if you just provide me the opportunity to assemble more evidence I don't currently possess. The prosecutor(s) would have been compelled to drop the charges long before the matter arrived in a United States court room!
