In response to a hypothetical scenario posed by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, House manager Rep. Adam Schiff argued that if President Donald Trump were truly concerned about corruption on the part of the Bidens, there were other ways he could have gone about addressing that than asking Ukraine to investigate. Schiff added: “Presidents should not be in the business of asking even their own Justice Department to investigate their political rivals.”
