this entire thing rather than how he did. Yes, I actually believe Trump screwed up on this.

I would have made clear there is nothing wrong with a quid pro quo when it comes to releasing US funds, aid or assistance in matters of the corruption of those with whom we are providing assistance. Not only is there nothing wrong with it, it is the correct and proper function of my role as POTUS to weed out such corruption by those with whom we do business.
