When Coach O was hired, he had a career record of 15-27. That was a gamble hire similar to ours. Coach O wasn't a proven winner or a proven program-builder either. Also, Coach O's 4mil/year deal in 2016 is not a fair comparison. Today, 4mil/year is near the bottom of the SEC in terms of HC salary.
