of abortion and population control because there are just too many people in the world. She complained about the lines in the stores, the traffic jams and so on.

I told her I was amazed at how much open land there is in the US. Looking at it from a plane it looks like there aren't all that many people in vast swaths of our country.

I mentioned that there are many small towns she could move to where she wouldn't have to worry about traffic jams or big lines in grocery stores.

She said there was no way she would move to a small town. There was nothing to do there, no opera, no professional sports teams, no big selection of theaters, stores and so on.

I said that it looked to me like she loved all of the advantages of the larger population, but wanted to kill off a bunch of the people so she could more conveniently enjoy those amenities.

She really had no answer for that. She had choice galore as to where to live and how dense the population was and she readily admitted that she preferred areas with a denser population.
