Most college recruits were successful HS players. There's no guarantee they will play at the level as HS or progress into good college players for a variety of reasons. Take freshmen Kobe Brown and Tray Jackson as examples. Both were highly-rated HS recruits. Yet, Kobe has been getting playing time since stepping on campus while Tray still looks lost at times.
