You are seeing why, right now. Too many people (both Ds and Rs) leveraged and blackmailed. The swamp can't let this type of investigation succeed, too many skeletons in both closets.
Trump might have initiated it for his political gain, and perhaps Ukraine is a little more slant toward D's, but Romney's kid is involved to a certain degree also.
The hypocrisy going on though, is amazing. Trump is picking at a scab that a WHOLE lot of people in DC don't want him touching. I am not sure why more American's don't see it.
