That is insane...Drug companies are abomination but the gov. does nothing efficiently or in a productive manner. Things would get worse.
Really what needs to be fixed is the FDA needs to be purged of all the former Pharm rep's in control of it...and they actually follow the regulations. The Pharm industry is like most things. Plenty of regulation on the books but nobody ever enforcing it.
