behind it. Laws that are passed carry the weight of govt. That govt exercise - gee whiz beav - the threat of a gun is not news son. You want to be a citizen of the nation and enjoy the benefits thereof, there are costs. One of those costs is paying taxes which you always whine about and about which you often drag up the stupid point of a gun thing. SO yes I propose national service as a means to accomplish all kinds of things. Military is one. Building up our cities or rural areas another. It's just an idea friend. And if you want to be a draft dodger, that's your business.
