and none of them made it. No real significant injuries either. Wallace-Simms was on track to be one of the top OL in the SEC after a 1st team pick last year. He, Colon-Castillo and Durant could all still play on Sundays. Hyrin White graded on really well in his snaps last year at T and the belief was that Cook and Borom would be fine at G, replacing Pendleton. I think the biggest issue was the fact that teams stacked the box to stop the run and Bryant didn't elicit any fear in the passing game.
Interior DL was stout with Elliott and Whiteside. Depth really wasn't an issue either. Losing Garrett was huge at LB, but the biggest problem was lack of DE production. Again, no real injuries on the DL either.
In all fairness, we had the line play on both sides to be a 1 to 2 loss team. Our offensive production was mediocre because the passing game was borderline putrid. I wonder if Robinson was eligible if we would've put the full-court press on Bryant? We'll see next year as he's more-than-likely the starter with Bazelak rehabbing and even healthy, Robinson has more experience.
Drinkwitz is a massive upgrade over Dooley. Just need the defense to continue to play like they did. There's a reason Walters and Haley were retained from Odom's staff.
Strength and conditioning was not a problem either and there's depth on both lines going into next year. Just ultimately sucked a$$ on O, which we haven't really had that problem since before Pinkel got here. 1 year outlier, IMO.
