that many here think they are conservative because they bleed red, white and blue and are either nationalists or support a big military and intervention all over "in the name of good" - and I'll add that many of this group have a religious bent which ties to the "do gooder" feel they associate with the US gvmt.

It's pretty creepy and it's entirely wrong.
