GC below said to go back further for a ignorant smarta5$ reason. But the truth is, if you go back farther you enter the era before mass early NBA entrants and the game was quite different, faster, and more entertaining.
The Golden era of college basketball was about 84-94. 1988 was different that 1998 which was a lot different than 2008 and 2018.
