In the 50s and 60s freedom of speech was the anchor of liberalism and what what set it apart from the McCarthyism of the day
I remember going overseas from Oakland Army Base after Mizzou and going to UC Berkeley as it was the Mario Savio/free speech movement. Now with ANTIFA et al it is all "approved speech" or we will shut you up, shout you down or beat you up.
Liberalism now attacks Jews which played a big part of the movement in the day. Watching the impeachment proceedings they have aligned themselves with the FBI if they do their bidding and spy on citizens they want spied on
