Countries are abandoning their culture. For centuries now western cultures have accepted immigrants but they expected the immigrants to assimilate. The underlying reason was the assumption that their cultures were superior to those the immigrants were fleeing. Their is some validity to that, why would you leave your home for an inferior one?
Yes I will state it, the American culture is better than those immigrants are coming from. You are welcome here but as new Americans not as. displaced {insert country here}. The Europeans are starting to figure this out it is probably too late.
