... that part I figured out from the outset.
Someone butthurt about Odom wanted to embarrass Sterk. That much was obvious 5 minutes in,.
The rest is where it all gets fishy and since nobody in the local media is even trying to get the rest of the story... I think they were involved in the trying to embarrass Sterk movement.
There is a great story here to chase that they refuse to chase. And who benefits from them not chasing it? The people that created the fake narrative that Jim Sterk was interested in these three candidates.
It never reconciled because those three weren't even close to what he described at the press conference and the timing he estimated... which was that he was targeting a coach that was in a conference championship game.
But according to Matter and others in local media... we are to believe that after Sterk fired Odom for going 6-6, 25-25 and qualifying for 3 bowls in 4 years while making not much money. And after he said that he wanted a coach with experience, that would bring excitement and energy and was a recruiting whiz, and after saying it would take 10-14 days because of conference championships... after all that, we are supposed to believe that he was going to immediately hire three mediocre coaches that didn't check any boxes, well before 10 days and that only by the grace of god did the hero BoC step in to act as Athletic Director and go hire a coach.
We are supposed to believe that Dr. Choi and Julia G. Brncic have any clue who Eli Drinkwitz is? Who Skip Holtz is? Blake Anderson?
And then after they jump in to save us from Sterk... THEY (not Sterk) end up hiring exactly who Sterk basically said he was going to target, in the timeframe that he targeted.
None of it reconciled.
It stinks of BS.
