Workshop with Mariam Baker from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m
"In the River of Blessings"

The workshop will include both seated and moving practices centered on opening the heart and mind to the gifts that surround us. Mariam brings a unique blend of softness and strength to her workshops.
This session will have a focus on the poetry of Rumi, in celebration of the season. The suggested donation is $20.
Afternoon & Evening events at St. Mary Episcopal Church

Creating Sacred Space starting at 4:30
Help us prepare the Church for the afternoon and evening.
Turning Class from 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Join us as Murshida Mariam Baker and our senior semazens instruct participants into the meditative turn of the dervish as well as the meanings behind it.
Open to all levels of experience or non-experience.
$20 suggested donation
Catered Meal from 5:30 - 6:30 pm
For the convenience of Turn Class participants, out-of-town visitors, and local folks who love the food of Marwan, the Shining Heart Community is offering a mid-eastern meal.

Cost $10 for all those over 10 and no cost to youngsters. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Celebrating Rumi's Urs from 7:30
with Allaudin Ottinger and very special guest Mariam Baker
The main event of the festival features music, dance, zikr, and the poetry of Rumi. We are honored once again to have our semazens do the meditative turn during zikr.
Evening: $10 suggested donation
Snack-luck
rounds out the evening celebration. Bring something sweet.
