2: I would've been more on board with Lane than most like you. Ole Miss is gonnna sell a hell of a lot more tickets and its not like were flushed with cash. and this search has been a bad look for Sterk unless he pulls someone like Napier or Harsin out of nowhere tomorrow night.

But I think you're underestimating them as a job. yes Mississippi is a shythole but Oxford is nice and there's an insane amount of talent in the area especially in the MS JUCOs to be able to turn things around quickly. sure there's a ton of competition around but its been proven you can recruit highly there if you know what you're doing and i think Lane can play that game. I also think a lot of people look at the division think wrong, yes its more difficult but these coaches are super competitive and I'm sure someone like Kiffin would love to stick it to Saban and coach O. its a big risk but we could've taken it too
