The only reason that they thought it was a good hire was because of the Brothers and a pick up in recruiting. I lived in Springfield and watched. I didn't think that he was very good at all. I do not even watch them but twice a year. This is a totally different situation. Barry is going to be a good coach and he has some very good ideas. A pro Style Offense is a recruiting attraction but it is for experienced receivers. His defense will always be good. Special teams were inconsistent kicking field goals and extra points mainly (talk to McCann and you will know why) the offensive players seemd to show up consistantly
