Where the F do you get 'blind support' ?

My position has always been looking back to the last couple of years, to "let it play out." Based on my experience, firing a coach doesn't always lead to better horizons and I don't apologize for not getting emotional and dumping on a guy who's job has been impacted in this case by NCAA sanctions, injury to his QB, injury to his best player on defense, and yes some crappy coaching.
To put it in other words I fail to see any advantage to firing Odom, Kim Anderson or anyone in the middle of the year. Maybe you can think of some advantages of whacking a coach in mid year.
