what you keep calling hearsay isn't hearsay. You are just looking to the wrong witnesses for that. They never testified to anything other than what they were told by Sondland, who also told them the President put him in charge of Ukraine.

Unless Sondland is going to take the fall for Trump. That's always a possibility.
