tier package, you don't get ESPN, therefore cannot get SEC/SEC+ via streaming. So if that's the case with you, then you're correct. However, that isn't the argument here, unless someone has a bare-bones cable package or is strictly over-the-air. Virtually ANYONE who gets ESPN as part of their deal will then have FREE access to SEC/SEC+ via the ESPN app.
The other option for you if you don't have ESPN is to simply get someone's login info. that you know has ESPN and use that to access the ESPN app.
