Anyone who has ever studied ecology at the fifth-grade level knows that forest fires are a natural part of the cycle of life in those systems. But we put out the small fires so they cannot keep the undergrowth down and we refuse to clear any ourselves.
How do these fires surprise us and how do you blame them on climate change?
