Lived through many years of not just bad football, but the worst. Will never forget what it was like listening to the game when we became bowl eligible for the first time since 1983. Surreal. Step by step...
Every year I bought the Athlon magazine, listened to talk radio, turned it up when they talked Mizzou, held out hope. Then Brad Smith beat Nebraska. Holy ****. That run through 2007 was a blast. Then a dip, then a rise, then a dip and here we are again.
I seriously doubt we'll reach those depths again for a protracted period of time. If we do, I'm battle hardened and prepared. Regardless, you don't pick your team. Your team picks you. Always a Tiger.
