but I don't think it's an awful idea. At least he's trying to solve an actual problem.
I think the issue is, you're going to move all these current employees for these departments, say the Department of Commerce to say coal country in Kentucky, how much trickle down would that have.
The problem is not only trickle down failure due to lack of manufacturing / business / industry but also lack of good paying jobs. Not sure a lot of people in these areas would or could get these government jobs due to lack of interest / not qualified.
