Impeachment is NOT just subpoenas. I did not argue that those committees lacked subpoena power. I argued that impeachment was a power given to the House not specific members within the House.

In every previous impeachment, the House voted to empower specific committees to begin inquiries. The House has not done that. Can you tell when the power to do so was granted to Pelosi by the House?

Whatever the HOUSE says it is not whatever the SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE says it is.
