Some of us get hung up with the old gold vs. yellow thing. I’ve seen photos of the Orf twins in ‘39 and Bob Stueber in ‘49 in away uniforms that were white with yellow stripes. The home jerseys were consistently old gold though, but I never heard older Mizzou fans being upset about Faurot changing the home jerseys to black in the 50’s.
