short thoughts on this whole new Trump crap

I guess fortunately, I have been in company meetings all week, and not followed details that closely....
As expected, partisan lines are drawn...shows quite well here.
The only thing I have read was the call transcript.
My view
Nothing there in terms of a quid pro pro or whatever....although with Guiliani mentioned, you would have to follow that trail
However, this, to me, is an odd first call with a new President. To bring up an investigation on the first call, when it should be about the countries finding ways to work together....but that is Trump.
I read just a touch of the whistleblower report, and since none of it was first hand, it was just a summary of some guy's feelings....not sure how that is being a whistleblower..or maybe you have to call it that since you are not part of an investigation, that is how it works...but someone clearly leaked that as well...at the same time while being withheld from Congress...no idea what the protocol is.
At the end of the day...more distractions around nothing much...except both sides get to keep their partisans in check.
