Afghan, just near it. I've said for years we should get our ground troops out of the mideast, because its a totally hopeless situation which cannot possibly benefit us more than it costs us. That cost includes lives lost.

I've also said that using our air power can make sense, if its wanted, and is quite safe relatively.

Trump showed weakness in being talked out of leaving the ME. His military advice is typical for the US and useless.
