A preseason All American was kicked off the team, a midseason Naismith watch list player got hurt, a future CPOY transferred midseason, and the guy who would lead the SEC in scoring the next season was coming off the bench.

The roster had some holes after all those things happened. But every roster in the history of college basketball would have some holes in the backup spots if those things occurred.
