He thinks he is elevated because he knows someone who knows someone who had a wedding reception at Congressional country club. Reputation.

And he doesn’t even understand my post said academia was like a part of the government. He couldn’t get past the word Stanford. He’s very impressed with stuff like that.

I guess he thinks that being impressed somehow makes him someone special. It doesn’t.
