Not sure when I claimed the old Dem party was great.
Just like the Republicans (to the right, especially socially), the party has moved to the left, and is using the primary process to move that party regardless of election outcomes or the general population politics.
And basically NOTHING has really improved under Trump. Still lots of poverty, homelessness, no safer.
