Two take-aways from last night's debates

(1) Attacking the Obama policies, as a way to get to Biden, is a poor overall strategic move. Gore tried to distance himself from Clinton, when riding that wave was a better strategy. The wanna-be candidates taking shots on recent past successes is stupid.
(2) It is clear that Booker and Harris are opportunists catering to "black" issues. Sorry, relying on the black vote (crime is crime, do better in following the law) to attack other candidates and try to win short term votes, will have long term consequences.
We saw that Trump tapped into white rural America and also captured white extremist votes in the process. The Democratic Party should stop trying to cater to the black vote. Blacks need to step it up on self-improvement and drive, not continue their self-defeating ways.
