The concerns for Santos was always his injury history and how the total inactivity while sitting out from transferring would affect him. Getting injured again caused the negative convergence of the 2. All of it was based on the year he stayed healthy and made it a full season. It was undeniable that 1 year showed what he might be able to do if he stayed healthy with natural improvement. He didn't and never got in sync. It's nothing that hasn't happened to practically every coach in the country. Now to echo what others have said you have seemingly taken what some posters said as what the coaches did't say. Now you will have a more justifiable case if Dru Smith turns out the same because everyone, including myself, have touted him.
