I made a bad mistake. I fcked up. I regret it every day. I had an opportunity to serve. I signed up with US Army on corner of Broadway and Providence subject to my getting on a bus that would depart that following Wednesday morning to go to St Louis and be inducted. My mother called me home not wanting to hear that her youngest child had died in the desert of Iran. There were hostages you see. I acceded to my mother's wishes. To this day I regret having done so.
Now you want to play some bullsht partisan pick on Raskol nonsense. I can't stop you from that. But THAT is exactly what happened. And I took a train to NYC the following week to spend a fun and carefree summer in the kitchen at Boulder Inn.
