My uncle and dad served in WWII.
One brother enlisted to serve during the Vietnam War and the other was drafted. One was smart as **** and served outside Prague in Army intelligence as a Russian Spy. The other was a +2 golfer who got pulled out of his platoon by a friggin' general and shipped off to Germany to play golf for the US Army. Good thing to have skills.

The Vietnam War was a grievous error. You president use the privilege of his wealth to skirt the draft. I respect those who fled to Canada under risk of prosecution. At least they put something on the line.
