Police officers can be trained to take folks out without killing them. The Torah that I have been poring over is really down on killing folks ya see. Shouldn't do it. Cheap ass logic that they are bad guys and its OK to shoot bad guys is bullsht. The Bobbies in the UK don't carry guns.

I disagree with deadly force. My balls-to-the-wall conviction is that we are all - all of us - eternal beings. I will not cease to be if the big scary bad man kills me. I would do every thing in my power to prevent him from doing harm. I understand being shot in the knee is beyond excruciating. I do not have the right to kill. I do not know if the bad man is going to kill me and that ignorance is not, in my view, license to take his life.

Thus I applauded the cops. This guy was a little thief shyster who scared folks with guns and took their money. He's 19. Glad they did not kill him.
