Are we born with the obligation of loyalty to a nation state?

Are we not individuals who own our minds, bodies, and lives?

Or are we slaves who, by virtue of our existence, have obligations and responsibilities that were decided long before we were born?


Who gets to decide your life? Your thoughts? Your actions? Are you not a free-standing, free-thinking individual?
