It's about one department not being willing, or capable, of offering a decent representation of what the University is known for.

The point that most people make when they bring this topic up is not that the J-school should do it for them, it is that somewhere along the line somebody in the AD needs to have a thought go through their head...."the number one this thing University is known for is journalism, we better make sure this press release isn't fvcked up because it will inevitably be tied to the journalism nature of the University."
