that a truly "free" person cannot live in a country, as such a place would have borders and laws. A "free" person and a country cannot coexist. The only deciding factor is the level of freedom one wants to obtain.
You replied back with "First, country =/= government or nation state. Second, borders and private law can exist by consent and contract".
I stand by the fact that any "country" found today on earth will have some form of government and borders that were NOT created by consent and contract. I'll state further that occupying an island somewhere on earth does not make you a "country"...it makes you an inhabitant. If I'm wrong, I'll go home and mow the yard. My question to you, although maybe a pit pithy sounding, was sincere. Where is such "country" that you speak of?
