there are various levels. I'm free to come and go as I wish for the most part. I'm free to say what I want to say for the most part. For those things where I'm not "free", I've traded freedom for laws or rules that are intended (for the most part) for the greater good. Are there bad laws, programs, aspects of government? Sure. Are there laws that favor certain groups? Sure. Do I give up some freedom to that? Absolutely.

You are totally free to wander around like a vagabond. You're free to go to an area and create your space where you want little or no government services. Head to Alaska, become a bush person. Howl at the moon.
