Way to wordsmith. The gift was a reasonable request, that MU decided against meeting the terms, yet attempted to keep the money anyway. They kept the money in a trust, instead of returning it to the estate for Hillsdale college.
Forcing the lawsuit, which Hillsdale will likely win, and then ask for legal fees as well.
So, in the end, MU's going to be out the donation and legal costs.
If MU somehow wins, they still ****ed away legal fees.
