Blue your thoughts that recent Mizzou teams might possibly be as good as it gets strike me as quite possibly true.
Pingeton has yet to bring in repeated recruiting classes with enough depth or athleticism to move the program to a slightly higher level.
For now, I cannot see how Pingeton can ever recruit to compete on the level of S. Carolina or Miss. State. Kentucky ,Texas A&M, and Tennessee will be tough to recruit with year to year also. So I see the challenge for Pingeton as being able to compete and recruit with everyone in the SEC except S. C. And Miss. State. Pingeton then keeps the non conference schedule soft , and a pretty decent season is within reach.
Getting to the round of 16 is doable someday and a worthwhile goal.
Mizzou trying to to land national recruits outside of the state is hardly realistic with so many prominent schools ahead of you in the pecking order.
Yeah I fear this years team will regress , and they will probably struggle down low.
I think the far bigger problem is no athleticism at guard or ability to handle pressure.
It’s possible SEC teams could quickly rattle our guards and games could get out of hand .
