How can a president with such solid numbers in the economy never get to majority support ?
Why does he languish in the low to mid 40s?
He got elected due a freakozoid outlier result of a 3 state 70,000 vote win. Couple that with record unpopularity, I find your confidence a bit weird. EVERY president in the last 125 yrs or more has enjoyed majority support at some point in his term - except for this guy.
There is no "how far the left" question. We are mostly a centrist nation. We are 49-51 country. There is no big Left or big Right, beyond extremists and there are not that many of them.
