Trump began his term at 47% approval. Never approached it since.
These pollsters are paid a sht ton by campaigns and others. If they had no value - they would be so richly compensated.
The polls that showed a Clinton edge were born out by the voters.
I enjoy the sport of Politics. Harris laid one on Biden in the debate that set him back - more than I might have thought. But it appears there are 3-4 candidates who could defeat this unpopular president in the general election.
And YES - CNN and NYT and WashPost and Fox sell a lot of soap using polls in their coverage. It is weak journalism but it is was what we have today in this race for the bottom line.
